Are you prepared for the ups and downs of business? I’m chatting in this week's episode about 4 key things to nail and do to prepare for the rollercoaster.
1) Managing money well means that if and when times get lean you’re able to ride them through
2) Making sure that you’re selling to your client's current needs based on what’s happening in the market.
3) Being agile in your business
4) Getting comfortable selling in different ways

When it comes to your business it's so important for you to make decisions that help you build a profitable business so that you can stay in business and not break yourself hustling.
So today I wanted to talk about a word that I hear a lot that I think can keep you broke as a business owner and under-earning.
And that word is Affordable. Now you know I like to look at the definition of words.
If something is affordable, it means its price is low enough that you (or most people) have enough money to buy it.
I want to break this into 3 key mistakes you're making when it comes to thinking about 'being affordable'. Let's look at this in an objective way.
Mistake 1 - You're pricing for them and not for you
Mistake 2 - Thinking you know what affordable means
Mistake 3 - Thinking that what you would buy is what your clients will buy.

Today on the poddy, I'm sharing my thoughts and AHA moments from the Magnetic Mastery event that I held last week.
I just love being in the room, connecting with people I love physically and giving somebody a hug and having a conversation. As you've probably already realised in being part of my community, I love speaking, presenting, training, workshopping, and answering questions. It's just my jam. It's where I love to be. It's where I thrive. And I think it's really important for me just to recognise that for myself, like I always say to my clients, where do you thrive the most? Like how can you bring more opportunity to yourself by doing that?
Listen in to hear about my main takeaways from Magnetic Mastery 2022.

Today on the poddy, I'm sharing the one question you need to ask yourself to stand out.
Your message is such a massive part of your business, because if what you're saying isn't landing with your audience, then you're not going to attract them, captivate them and convert them, which is exactly what we want to do.
Your message and the reason that you're in business is so that you can make money so that you can continue to be in business, as well as have an impact.

When it comes to ensuring that you get your clients the result they signed up for, creating a client success criteria (CSC) for yourself is a great place to start.
This is something I talk about in Amplify and I think it's really important whether you're a program provider and coach or a service based business who provides something else to really think about this.
As a service provider and even a product based business, thinking about
What experience you want your client to have & how do you reverse engineer it.
What is the outcome that you've promised them?
How are you going to ensure they get that outcome?
How can you measure their success criteria?
What happens if they don't?
So that's what we're talking about today.

This is my first week back from holiday, which is obviously why it's titled 3 Business lessons from my recent Thailand holiday. Sometimes you can feel like as a business owner, you can never turn your brain off to lessons no matter where you are.
We chat about:
Getting really comfortable with being around sales, people selling to you, and how you think about people selling to you will also impact the way that you sell.
Doing things the hard way. So not learning, not exploring, not developing your skills and continuing to do things the hard way, even when people tell you easier ways to do it.
Luxe over low-quality products, whether you choose to treat yourself to something that is luxe, as opposed to things that are low quality.
